Apples are high up on the dirty dozen list as conventional ones are sprayed with loads of nasty chemicals. Ours are grown without the use of any chemicals by Mario Giacosa on his chemical-free farm in Stanthorpe.
Sometimes our fruit and vegetables, including apples, will have blemishes and won't look shiny and perfect like they do in the supermarkets, but they are a taste sensation like the fruit from our childhoods.
