Farmer's Feast Tickets - 20 April 2024
Farmer's Feast Tickets - 20 April 2024
SATURDAY 20 APRIL 2024, 6-9PM
Food Connect Shed, 8 Textile Crescent, Salisbury
Calling all food lovers and regenerative farming fans! Join us on Saturday 20 April 2024 for an unforgettable evening. The inaugural Farmer's Feast will be a celebration of the bountiful harvest of our organic and regenerative farmers.
Using produce and ingredients from Echo Valley Farm, Wulff and Cub Mushrooms, Indie Bakehouse and Temptress Apothecary, our Chef Chris Jordan from Three Little Birds will prepare a delightful 3 course feast for your taste buds! With a strong connection to his Indigenous heritage, Chef Chris has a passion for incorporating native flavours into his cooking and creating dishes that celebrate the rich and diverse Australian landscape.
But the Farmer's Feast is not just about savouring delicious cuisine. It's an opportunity to connect with the passionate individuals cultivating the food we treasure. Join us for presentations from the farmers themselves, where you can dive into their inspiring stories and gain insights into their sustainable farming practices. Discover how they're shaping a bright future for the animals, the planet, and the well-being of all of us as conscious consumers.
And that's not all! As a token of our appreciation for your support, each attendee will receive a delightful goodie bag, brimming with delectable samples of organic food, exclusive discount vouchers for local businesses, and a copy of the enlightening book "One Bite at a Time: Reduce Toxic Exposure and Eat the World you Want" by Dr Sarah Lantz and Tabitha McIntosh. It's our way of spreading the message of mindful, sustainable living beyond the feast itself.
A range of organic and local beverages (including wine, beer, some spirits, soft drink and teas) will be available to purchase from the bar.
Mark your calendars because the Farmer's Feast is destined to become an annual affair, a vibrant celebration of our shared values, and an opportunity to foster lasting connections among farmers, chefs, and food enthusiasts like you.
