Starfruit (3)

Starfruit, also known as Carambola, is a tropical fruit popular in many Asian countries.  It has a sweet and sour taste and is star shaped when cut, hence it's name.  It is quite high in Vitamin C and the whole fruit can be eaten.  No need to peel, just wash and enjoy.  Cut across the middle as this is the most visibly beautiful way to see the fruit in all its glory.

Our starfruit is grown right here in Wamuran, Queensland using organic farming practices.
