Farmacy Weekly Report 2023 Week #5

Happy Monday!

It's getting hot in here! It's like summer has really kicked in now - I hope you're finding ways to keep cool.

This is a super challenging time for keeping fresh produce fresh so please help us out by taking note of when your delivery is due to arrive (we text you on Wednesday afternoon with an anticipated time) and being prepared to pick up/take your box inside quickly. We use ice packs to keep cold items cold and styrofoam boxes for orders with cold items and these do work very well. That said, if you ever receive an item that has deteriorated just let us know and we'll happily replace it for you. We aim for 100% customer satisfaction and believe this is a big part of how we're still doing this after nearly 8 years!

I was looking through Holistic Bliss magazines yesterday (for vision board pics) and noticed lots of ads for organic food delivery businesses like ours. The magazines were a few years old and when I looked up these businesses they were all closed down. So sad to see someone's creation didn't stand the test of time. I'm not entirely sure what we're doing differently (I have a few ideas) but whatever it is, we're going to keep doing it! We're here for the long haul but we do need your continued support. Thanks for sticking with us!

New this week we have Certified Organic Seedless White Grapes from Victoria and Lychees from Mt Cotton Organic Farm.

Nectarines and Peaches have dropped in price this week and are just divine - enjoy them while they last!

GROCERY UPDATE 🛒

Do you like having a collection of great containers in your kitchen? Glass or stainless steel are the way to go to prevent nasty toxins from plastic leaching into your good food. I came across these really handy stainless steel containers at IKEA recently so I grabbed a few for you as well. WE NEED A NEW DRIVER! 🚚

Our driver Tess is leaving us next month to study so we are looking for someone pretty special to fill her shoes. Must be fit, healthy and able to lift lots of boxes and climb in and out of vans. Delivery days are Thursday (6.30am start), Friday (6.30am start) and Saturday (4am start). Must be available all 3 days, be a great driver and have a passion for good food.
