Happy Monday!
A big thank you to all who entered into our Mother's Day competition. It was such a delight to read through the responses and memories you shared of your favourite meals your mum used to cook. It brought back some memories of some old favourites like Chicken A La King, Rice Custard/Pudding and Apricot Chicken.

PRODUCE UPDATE 🍎
This week we have new season Oranges and Mandarins available from our newest farmers Neil + Tanya Richards at Gayndah. Their farm is located by the big orange landmark as you are welcomed into Gayndah. We will share more about this beautiful couple and their growing practices this week.
We also have some amazing specials on our bulk Packham Pears, Gala Apples and Granny Smith Apples. These are SECONDS which means there is an oversupply of this fruit and some of their outside skin isn't as appealing to the eye. However the inside is still extra delicious and nutritious to eat. All these bulk items come from Gran Elly Orchard, lovingly grown with organic farming practices by Dennis Angelino. If you'd like to help Dennis shift some of these apples and pears, we promise you won't be disappointed by the taste.
Also just wanted to give a special mention to Dennis and his Red Delicious Apples we currently have available. If you haven't tried these new season delights, be sure to also add them to your order this week as they are extra juicy and sweet. Dennis is famous for his extra juicy, highly nutritious and delicious apples.
GROCERY UPDATE 🛒
We've been wanting to add meat for a while now and hadn't been able to due to logistics and space. We are so excited by the response from you all as we nearly sold out of all we had available. We have added a few more things this week like Chorizo and Bacon from Gamze. Their bacon ticks all the boxes being Free Range, Chemical and Preservative Free (ie. Nitrite), Hand Crafted and Naturally Wood Smoked.
