🧑🌾 From the Farms 🧑🌾
The farms are buzzing with winter goodness right now – and there’s a lot to get excited about. Here’s what’s tasting extra fresh this week:
Dark, leafy and full of flavour. Grown with love by Rick and Kel at Sandy Creek Gourmet Produce, this kale is your go-to for strong bones, glowing skin, and green smoothies. Sauté it, soup it, or blitz it in your blender.
🍊 Tangelos
They’re baaaack! Fresh from The Big Orange in Gayndah, these juicy beauties are the lovechild of a tangerine and a grapefruit. Sweet, zingy and perfect peeled or paired with coconut yoghurt for a feel-good brekkie.
These creamy white-fleshed sweet potatoes from Spring Lake Farm are perfect roasted, mashed, or chucked into a curry. Packed with fibre and flavour – a true winter staple.
🍓 Fresh Strawberries are coming soon!
Next week we should have some sweet, spray-free strawberries making their grand return. Keep an eye out – they never hang around for long!

Certified organic, free to roam, and fed the good stuff (no nasties whatsoever). These happy chooks have access to fresh pastures 24/7 and are raised with care, which means better flavour, better nutrition, and better vibes all round.
