Our Maple Roasted Dandelion Sticky Masala Chai is a soul warming ode to my homeland where the maple tree are tapped and the dandelion roots are roasted. We then fold in a heart- warming bouquet of traditional Masala spices - cinnamon, pepper, fresh ginger root, sweet orange peel, cardamom, cloves, star anise and fragrant Tasmanian pepper berries and long- time marinate in sustainably sourced, organic maple syrup. The combination yields a heavenly ‘coffee-like’ brew that is decadently spiced, warming and aromatic.
STOVETOP (HOME BREW) METHOD
Place a tablespoon (20gms) of Temptress Sticky Chai into a saucepan on the stove. Add around 1/3 of a mug of water and bring to a simmer for a few minutes. Reduce the heat and add milk to the saucepan (about as much to fill a mug). Keep on a low heat until the brew takes on a deep, tan colour, about 5 minutes or so, stirring occasionally. Add in a sweetener of your choice, if required. Turn off the heat and strain your chai directly into a beautiful mug, or into a blender and blend until soft and frothy (or hand whisk). Serve warm and steamy.
