Bosc Pears have hard flesh and brown skin. When ripe they tend to be juicy, crunchy and sweet.
Pears are high up on the dirty dozen list but with these pears you won't need to worry about pesticides or fungicides. Perfect as a snack, and also great when turned into stewed pear with a bit of cinnamon and put on top of your porridge. Yum!
