Farmacy Weekly Report 2023 Week #16

Farmacy Weekly Report 2023 Week #16

Happy Monday!

It's back to school today and I know many of you have just returned from holidays. We hope you had a memorable and relaxing time.

We have everything you need to restock your fridge with the healthiest local goodness. As we head into winter, it's a great time to think about increasing your Vitamin C intake and adding more broths, soups and slow cooker recipes into your diet to increase your gut health and immunity. We'll have more of that yummy Byron Bay Chicken Stock for you soon and we currently have plenty of nourishing Bone Broth Concentrates.

We'd love you to share your favourite recipes with our community in our Farmacy Family Facebook Group. Nanita will be popping in there this week with a good one using Rhubarb which is new in stock this week.

PRODUCE UPDATE 🍎

New this week we have beautiful Vitamin K rich Rhubarb from Mt Tamborine and antioxidant rich Pomegranate from Mudgee NSW.

I remember being told to cut a pomegranate in half and beat out the seeds - this does not actually work very well! It works much better if you cut the top and segment the pomegranate then scoop out the delicious seeds.

GROCERY UPDATE 🛒

We have yummy new Indie Bakehouse breads and cookies available this week!

The GF Danish Rose and Butterscotch Cookie is back but in giant cookie size. Looking forward to trying the new Ginger Roger and Salted Oatmeal + White chocolate cookies.

For the bread lovers - we have a new Caramelised Onion Cheddar WholemealFrench Brekkie and Open Sesame Sourdough Loaves available for you try this week.

Indie Bakehouse's delicious sourdough bread is raised in their Brisbane kitchen using sustainable flour from Wholegrain Milling family mills. This and Tanya is what makes Indie Bakehouse loaves taste extra delightful. Along with the fact they are baked the day of your delivery - so luxurious if you haven't purchased one already.

PLEASE CHECK YOUR WEDNESDAY TEXT MESSAGE

Every Wednesday at 4pm we will send you a text message to confirm the day and estimated time your order is scheduled to arrive. Often, the time will be similar but sometimes it may change. If you've asked for a different delivery day or time - this is the time to check we got it right. We've noticed many people don't actually read the day/time in the message and simply assume it'll be the same as the previous week - it isn't always! So please check it and let us know if we need to make a change for you (on Wednesday). Thank you!

Wishing you amazing health and happiness,
Kristen, Trevor + the team at SFF x
