Farmacy Weekly Report 2023 Week #22

Happy Monday! 

Hope this finds you all healthy and well. There seem to be a few bugs doing the rounds so just wanted to let you know we have Aunty Keety's Witches Brew back in stock. This is handmade locally in the Moreton Bay Region using a recipe from a Chinese herbalist. With Astragalus, Echinacea, Elderberry, Manuka Honey and Olive Leaf Extract, Aunty Keety's Witches Brew is a powerful and potent elixir to add to your home apothecary and one we seem to be lucky enough to stock exclusively. 

We also have Temptress Apothecary's Medicinal Elderberry Tonic. This ancient tonic may offer relief from the symptoms of influenza, colds, coughs, sore throat, headache and fevers. Elderberries are one of the most widely used medicinal plants in the world. Perhaps because they make such a delicious syrup that may not only relieve symptoms but also help boost your immune system! We like to give all members of our family a spoonful each day.

PRODUCE UPDATE 🍎

Pumpkins are in abundance this week - you can add a whole butternut pumpkin to your order for just $4.50! Our delicious pumpkins are grown by our friends Barry and Deanna at Fig Tree Fields in Kingaroy - watch them pumpkin gathering here. We will be sharing more about this beautiful couple and their organic farming practices on our social media channels this week.

GROCERY UPDATE 🛒 

It's definitely porridge weather. As we know many of you are gluten-free, we have added Bask & Co's latest product to our store - Almond and Cinnamon GF Porridge! This is made from a wholesome base of rolled rice and quinoa flakes combined with a delicious blend of almonds, coconut sugar and cinnamon for a nutritious breakfast that will keep you fueled for the day ahead. It's been so popular already that we expect it will sell out so get in quick for this one!

We've also continued to expand our meat selection to include Sherwood Road Organic Meats' yummy sausages 🙌. These legends pride themselves on being the home of "crap free" sausages. They have put together some delicious combinations of sausages - we picked 8 of our favourites to start with - head to the Butcher section of our website to discover them all.

Speaking of meat, we've also added more from Gamze Meathouse including Smoked Chicken Breast and Turkey Breast. We've restocked their chorizo and bacon too (for those who want smaller packs that Echo Valley's 500gm ones). We have so much to choose from now!
