What a weekend! I (Kristen) had the privilege of attending an event by Farmer's Footprint featuring Zach Bush MD (founder of Farmer's Footprint). The work they are doing to educate farmers and consumers on the regeneration movement in Australia is incredible! Watch this short video to see what it's all about and be inspired.

FROM THE FARMS 🍎🍐🥦
Tis the season for lots of vibrant new produce to flourish! We love summer and all the beautiful produce it brings. This is the benefit of eating seasonally - getting excited about what's available at different times of the year and enjoying it at it's peak!
This week we have a bunch of goodness coming from Kalfresh Organic Farms in the Lockyer Valley - 🥬 Asparagus, 🌶️ Mini Capsicums, 🌽 Sweet Corn and 🍉 Mini Watermelons. Yum!
We've also got some more Certified Organic 🥭Mangoes from Bowen. They're still not cheap but they're delicious and buying organic gives you peace of mind that: the farmer has received a fair price for their hard work; no nasty chemicals are in or on the fruit (pay the farmer now or the doctor later); and the environment hasn't suffered in order to produce this fruit. It really is worth it to prioritise choosing organic.
Sadly Kel's farm at Woodford hasn't received any of the precious rain we've had in Brisbane. They're currently hand watering everything to ensure not a drop is wasted. 🚰
Echo Valley Farm and some of our other farmers to the south were much luckier - receiving as much as 53.5mm in 3 days! Thank you rain! 🌧️🤟
