On Friday we attended a screening of Rachel’s Farm at Creative Roots Breath Therapy in Kobble Creek. Kristen spoke about the regenerative farming movement and how to support the farmers who are doing the much needed work of regenerating our soil. We'll be hosting our own screening of this beautiful film in the coming months. 👏🎬
🌱 On 20th April is our first-ever Farmer’s Feast at the Food Connect Shed in Salisbury! Get ready for a mouthwatering 3-course feast prepared by the talented Chef Chris Jordan from Three Little Birds and to hear stories from our amazing local farmers on organic and regenerative farming. This week, we’ve got Raw Goats Milk (for cosmetic use only), coming straight from Forage Hill Goats, a small family farm located in Murgon, Queensland. They aim to be a dairy with a difference - their herd of 30 does are nourished with their own pesticide-free hay. It's then quickly frozen to maintain its freshness. 🐐🥛
Leek has also been added to your veggie lineup. If you don’t know how to use it, it’s basically just a long onion. It makes a great addition to soups and stocks, or perhaps a chicken and leek pie.🧅💚
From our friends at Woodland Valley Farm's Pasta Bah we have a some special ready made meals this week - Lasagna and Cannelloni! Both 1kg and estimated to feed about 3 people. Please let us know if you like them and want more!
