Farmacy Weekly Report 2024 Week #15

Howdy, foodies!

Hope you’re buzzing from a weekend filled with good vibes and even better food! ⭐ We're diving headfirst into another awesome week, and boy, do we have some exciting news to share.

🥁 The Farmer’s Feast is happening THIS SATURDAY, and we’re getting more amped by the minute! 🍽️✨ This night is shaping up to be an unforgettable experience filled with delicious, fresh food, heartwarming stories, and the best community connection you could ask for.

We've got just 10 tickets left, so if you haven't secured yours yet, now's the time! Trust us; you won't want to miss out. Save your seat at the table here before it's too late!

Farmer Ric ventured to Gayndah’s Big Orange over the weekend to collect some juicy spray-free Imperial Mandarins straight from the source. These beauties are the epitome of sunshine in fruit form and the perfect way to boost your vitamin C as we head into the cooler months. 🍊

And speaking of fresh finds, Kel & Ric's farm at Sandy Creek is practically swimming in Rosellas! 🌺  Time to whip up another batch of that sweet, tangy Rosella jam, am I right?! Who’s ready to spread some homemade love on their morning toast?

Our white flesh Dragonfruit are all gone, folks. But their even more vibrant counterparts have swooped in: the red flesh Dragonfruit! 🐉🔥 These guys may be a tad smaller, but what they lack in size they make up for in flavour. We’ve popped them in 1kg lots for you to enjoy. 👏

Bio Farms in Tassie have also blessed us with a bounty of vibrant Green Cabbages. Perfect for all you sauerkraut enthusiasts out there – it’s fermenting time, foodies! 🥬✨

🎉 Get ready to satisfy your sweet tooth with a little help from Food to Nourish! 🍰  Nat’s brought in some seriously tasty Chocolate Cake, Brownie, and Vanilla Cake mixes made with top-notch organic ingredients and free from any nasties. Just add eggs, your milk of choice, and a splash of olive oil, and you’re good to go.

Our shelves have been restocked with Urban Forager’s heavenly preserves and stocks. If you’ve never delved, you gotta. Every jar is made with love by Lou, who started out as a marine biologist until she began making preserves with fruit from her neighbours' backyards. She hated seeing lemons and figs wasting away on the ground so she decided to make good use of them, and from that inspiration came the wonderful world of Urban Forager. Read her whole story here

Alright, Farmacy Fam, that’s a wrap for this week’s updates! As always, thank you for being the heart and soul of our community. Your support means the world to us, and we can’t wait to keep sharing good food with you, one delicious bite at a time. 🌿✨
