This week, our organic kale, basil, and garlic are thriving thanks to this great weather, so we've popped them on special for ya! Coincidentally... these three ingredients go great together in a pesto. Just whiz together with some lemon juice, cheese and olive oil and BAM! You've got some super tasty pesto. š§š±
Sadly, it's likely the last week for pears. Although they're still really beautiful and fresh, they're about to step out of the spotlight for a while and give some of the spring fruits a chance to shine. āļø
In other news, Kristen, Nat & Maddy dolled up and ventured out to the Moreton Bay Business Awards on Friday night to see if we were a winner in the Food and Agribusiness Category. Sadly we were pipped at the post by Hip Hop Brewers! Given it's the first time we've entered an Awards competition, we're still pretty stoked to have made it to the Finalist level š

Maurie and Maria are the incredible farmers behind Cafresco Organics. They grow our delicious Organic Asparagus and Gold Shallots.
