Winter’s really settling in, and our local farmers are starting to get an abundance of beautiful wintery fruit and veg! Cool, dry weather means things are thriving - and this week we’re bursting at the seams with goodness from the ground up. 💚We’re so excited to share with you what we’ve got this week…

🍓 Strawberries are officially here!
And not just any strawberries. These beauties come from Ashbern Farms in Stanthorpe, where they’ve been growing Certified Organic strawbs since 2008.
Strawberries are one of the most chemically sprayed fruits (number one the Dirty Dozen list), and because they’re porous, there’s no rinsing that stuff off. So go ahead and enjoy these sweet, juicy ones stress-free. 😅🍓✨
🌟 Gold Beetroots from G & P Turnbull
Golden on the inside, gentle on the palate – these beets are slightly sweeter than their red cousins and won't leave your hands looking like a crime scene. Perfect for roasting, tossing through salads or mixing into warm veg bowls. Plus, they’re loaded with antioxidants, potassium and vitamin C. 💛
🥬 Brussels Sprouts from Mt Whitestone Farms
Crisp, green, and full of bite, these Organic Brussels are grown using biodynamic Demeter methods passed down through generations. Grown in Victoria by Forrest Herbs Farm, they’re not only fresh but also fantastic for firing up your digestion. Add them to your tray bake, shred ‘em into a salad or sauté with butter and garlic. 🤤
