Farmacy Weekly Report Week #6 2022

Farmacy Weekly Report Week #6 2022

Week #6 - deliveries from 10-12 February 2022 (order by midnight Tuesday)

Hi Foodies!

Have you got kids returning to school this week? Mine are super excited to start Year 1 and Year 4 this year. It's been a lovely, but endlessly long summer holidays so I'm looking forward to getting into a routine again and actually knowing what day it is!

Of course part of that routine is school lunchboxes. We have Planet Box Lunchboxes and I really enjoy putting as much colour as possible in there - having it look so neat and healthy! If you need some lunchbox inspiration, check out this post I wrote back when my eldest was just starting school. Lots of ideas there.

Some items we have available this week that'd be perfect for school lunchboxes include:

  • Grapes - green and red seedless
  • Nectarines
  • Medjool Dates
  • Barbell Billtong
  • Hummus (and veggie sticks)
  • Sliced Cheese
  • Corn Chips
  • Dark Chocolate Chips
  • Freeze-Dried Banana Bites
  • Bask & Co Granola Clusters
  • Olives

🍎 PRODUCE UPDATE

New this week we have...

  • NEW SEASON Pears (Williams) and Royal Gala Apples from Stanthorpe
  • Tarragon
  • Chives
  • Mizuna

Did you know Apples and Pears only grow in the first 4-6 months of the year in Australia? After that they're all coming out of cold storage. So right now is the best time to eat them - fresh from the trees!

We managed to find another Watermelon Farmer last week so we have got more for you this week. Won't be available long though.

Out this week: Mangoes 😢, Baby Spinach & Rocket (too wet), Gold Shallots.

Lots of customers have been asking us to add more products to the store so they can avoid the supermarkets altogether. This week we're excited to expand our Nut Milk and Oral Care ranges with these products:

  • Pure Harvest Macadamia Dream Nut Milk
  • Natural Family Co Friendly Floss.

We will only add products we love ourselves - I'm sure you'll love these too!

📰 OTHER NEWS

The lovely Siobhan is away this week, recovering from a nasty flu, so it's just Jenny and I manning the fort this week. I will do my best to get back to you asap!

We have a few niggling tech issues persisting on our website at the moment that we haven't been able to get fixed just yet. We're in the process of engaging a new web company to help us eliminate these and make our website even better for you. I can't wait to have it working perfectly!

Please bear with us as we work towards this.

Have a delicious week!
