Christmas is all about kindness and we love sharing our beautiful produce with families who can really use it at this time of year. Families who are going through a difficult time and would really appreciate the kindness of a free box of spray-free produce.
Last year, thanks to the help of our amazing customers, we were able to deliver 20 boxes of beautiful produce to families in need on Christmas Eve! People who were very ill, people who had recently lost their jobs, single mothers, people who show such extreme kindness to others and more. It was an incredible experience for Trev and I to deliver to these families.
Because we've had such a successful year this year, we, along with Farmer Kel, are contributing 20 free large boxes of fruit and veg! That's $1200 worth of produce!
This year, instead of seeking nominations for families, we've decided to give all the boxes direct to the Salvation Army's City Mission. They are going to distribute it to families they know could really use some kindness this year. We're making the delivery on Thursday 20 December.
To help us make an even bigger impact, WE'D LOVE YOUR HELP! If you can contribute some money, $10, $20, $50 or whatever your budget allows, we can beef up those 20 boxes with bread, eggs and/or even add more boxes!
