Daikon radish is a long white root vegetable with a crisp texture and a slightly sweet, mild flavour. It is commonly used in Asian cuisine, often pickled, or grated and added to salads and stir-fries. It can also be roasted or mashed, and is rich in vitamin C and fibre.
