What do you currently make?
Little Tuna is a manufacturer of ready to eat seafood. Our current product lines include bottled (canned) Tuna in a range of natural flavours. We source all our sustainably caught Australian fish from the East Coast Tuna and Billfish Fishery managed by the Australian Fisheries Management Authority (AFMA).

How did you get into this?
My wife and I were discussing eating canned tuna and how it wasn’t Australian caught and processed anymore. We wondered why we would buy canned tuna from overseas when I was out there catching fresh Tuna. This led us to try to fill the gap in the market with a high quality canned tuna caught and made here in Australia.

What do you enjoy most about your work?
I like getting feedback from customers saying that they haven't eaten tuna in years because it's gone overseas and now they can again. It reinforces that what we are doing is right.

Why is organic/chemical-free food important to you?
We live in an age where we consume so much processed foods that our bodies weren't designed to eat. If we can get back to basic and consume more organic and natural foods it is better for us as humans and the environment as we consume less and we get more nutrients out of the foods we eat.

What’s your favourite meal?
I love a thick cut steak that is cooked slowly on the BBQ with mixed veggies.
