Farmacy Weekly Report 2023 Week #11

Farmacy Weekly Report 2023 Week #11

Happy Monday!

How wonderful was it to receive so much rain over the weekend. Hoping this will green everything up for us. Our farmers have certainly welcomed this rain with open arms. I'm sure you can agree that all our lawns have also welcomed the down pour.

PRODUCE UPDATE 🍎

New this week we have fresh, spray-free Pineapples from Beerwah. We've been waiting for these for a few weeks and are excited that they're now beautifully sweet + juicy! We had the pleasure of trying some last week just to be sure. If you'd like to know how to slice a pineapple, watch this video of farmer Kel and her impressive slicing skills on our Farmacy Family Page.

We have so many different types of Apples to choose from now - this week we've added new season certified organic Fuji Apples and Royal Gala Apples from Tasmania.  Fuji apples are my absolute favourite. They are delightfully sweet and are often used for juicing because of this.

Lastly, we have added natural green seedless Sultana Grapes. These are the grapes they use for dried sultanas before they dehydrate them for our convenience. They might be small in size but definitely are gorgeously sweet and juicy little morsels.

GROCERY UPDATE 🛒

With Easter less than a month away, we have just received a special delivery of Loco Love Hazelnut Hares. These come in a two pack and are going to sell out fast as they only make a small batch of these and we have just 30 available.

Speaking of Easter, we also have Carob Kitchen Eggs and Primal Alternative's Hot Cross Buns Mix. Sol Breads Easter range is coming soon.

We have added some delicious new Japanese Pickles by Tsuke Mono. Carrot and Daikon Radish w Mandarin Yuzu and Cucumber with Mustard Seed + Japanese Soy.  In Japan, pickles are served with practically every meal and might be a nice change from sauerkraut if you are looking for some variety.

Last but not least, we've added some more frozen berries to our range for you - fresh, certified organic and super local from Hampton Blue near Toowoomba. We've got their 750gm Blueberries and 375gm Raspberries. We've also got plenty of their delicious Blueberry & Raspberry Jams. Yum!

Wishing you amazing health and happiness,
Kristen, Trevor + the team at SFF x
