Farmacy Weekly Report 2023 Week #13

Happy Monday!

Lots of yummy new gut healing products to tell you about this week along with new fruit and great specials.

Please let us know what you think of the new additions! We're also always keen to hear what else you'd like us to source for you.

PRODUCE UPDATE 🍎

We have new season Gold Kiwifruit from Mt Tamborine available this week. These kiwifruit are sweeter than the green kiwis you might be familiar with. Did you know one Kiwifruit is said to contain around 230% of the daily recommended intake of Vitamin C? Food really is the best medicine!

In specials: We have just marked down our Dutch Cream Potatoes (1kg) and Whole Butternut Pumpkins to $5.50 - grab a bargain!

Our season of Corn and Red Sensation Pears have also unfortunately come to an end for but the cooler weather will bring plenty more fresh, local produce our way.

GROCERY UPDATE 🛒

We have two new Kombucha's for you to try from a company called Rok Kombucha. They filter pure Margaret River water and cold press their certified organic ingredients to produce beautiful flavours like passionfruit and ginger. It's really delicious and of course a rich source of probiotics and enzymes that can improve gut health, immunity, and reduce inflammation.

Another new drink to try is CoCo Coast Coconut Water. We're currently stocking two flavours: Lychee and Passionfruit. These are a refreshing twist and are made with young green coconuts to make these deliciously sweet. No additives or preservatives - just pure Coconut Water and fruit juice. Provides a great boost of electrolytes which is especially needed in hot weather.

For the bone broth lovers, we have just brought in Byron Bay Chicken Bone Broth - a nice change from our wide range of beef bone broths we have in stock. It uses certified organic chicken and onions. Bone broth contains collagen, amino acids, and minerals which can support joint health, digestion, immune system, skin, hair, and nails.

Lastly we have also expanded our range of sauerkrauts with Peace, Love and Vegetables' Dill Sauerkraut. It pairs well with any meal be it vegetables, salad, seafood or as a topping on gluten free bread or crackers. It is delicious mixed through scrambled eggs or along side avocado. It is even mild enough to enjoy by the spoonful to activate your digestive system prior to eating a meal!

Wishing you amazing health and happiness,
Kristen, Trevor + the team at SFF x
