Hey foodie! 🍓
Hope you’re keeping warm and cosy. We’re excited to share what’s new with you this week. As usual, there’s lots to tell… 👇
🌧️ From the Farms 🌧️
The rain has not let up! Rick and Kel have been knee-deep (literally) in mud, working hard to keep things running smoothly despite the soggy conditions. It’s not the easiest time to be farming, but these legends are doing an amazing job. Check out the photos below to see how the farm’s looking.
🍇 This Week's Fresh Picks
Here’s a few seasonal standouts we’re real pumped about:
🍎 Organic Pomegranates
Have you ever seen such a good-looking piece of fruit in your entire life? Hand-picked with care by the team at GMP Organic Farms in VIC, these ruby-red jewels are full with flavour. Sprinkle them over salads, mix into couscous dishes, or add to your morning oats for a juicy lil pop.
🥝 Organic Kiwi Fruit
From Comboyne Organic Orchards in NSW, these fuzzy little beauties are spray-free and packed with tangy-sweet goodness. Slice them into yoghurt, blend them into smoothies, or just scoop them straight from the skin. What the heck… eat the whole thing - skin and all - if you’re into that!
🌿 Organic Fennel Bulbs
Cafresco Organics (Koo Wee Rup, VIC) has delivered some stunning bulbs this week! Roast it in the oven with veggie broth until caramelised, or thinly slice it into a fresh salad with oranges and olive oil. And don’t toss those fronds — they make a great garnish or addition to pesto. 😋
🍓 Coming Soon: Jammed With Love!
We’re so excited to welcome Jammed With Love to our shelves soon! Made in Brissy by the amazing Phallin Chhim, these jams are handcrafted from fresh, seasonal Aussie fruit and traditional family recipes - think rosellas, Davidson plum, and more. No added flavours, no colours, just 99% homegrown goodness. We’ll keep you posted on their arrival.
🚽 Who Gives A Crap? (We Do!)
We’re now stocking Who Gives A Crap toilet paper and paper towels – made from 100% recycled paper and bamboo, with no plastic packaging. Best of all? They donate 50% of their profits to help build toilets and improve sanitation around the world. That’s some serious impact with your loo rolls 🧻✨
