Hope you’ve had a lovely week filled with warm meals and full bellies. We’ve got some zesty new arrivals and exciting updates from the farms to share with you on this fine Sunday.
🧑🌾 From the Farms 🧑🌾
🍊 This week, we’ve got some beautiful Seville Oranges fresh from Sandy Creek, harvested by none other than Farmer Kel and Rick - see the wholesome pics below. These bold, bitter beauties are perfect for homemade marmalade, zesty cakes, preserves or anything that needs a citrusy punch. And of course, they’re grown without pesticides or chemical fertilisers, just sunshine, soil and love. 💚
Keeping it extra citrusy, we’ve also got Ruby Grapefruits from C206 Organic Citrus in Gayndah. These are next-level juicy and sweet. We love them with a sprinkle of coconut sugar and scooped straight from the skin for a morning boost of vitamin C and antioxidants.
Mung Bean Sprouts are back! Grown by the lovely folks at Healthy Sprouting Company in Thornlands, these are super crunchy and full of goodness. Think vitamins A, B1, B2, C, E, niacin, potassium, iron… they’re basically nature’s multivitamin. Toss them into a nourish bowl, stir-fry or sandwich for some extra crunch.
🥛 Mungalli Madness!
Sheesh! It's clear that Mungalli Biodynamic dairy is popular. 😍 We’ve only had their range for a week and it’s flying out the door like hot cakes. Their creamy milk is something else - fresh, rich, and you can tell the cows at Mungalli Creek are getting the TLC they need from the farmers. No wonder it’s winning all the hearts.
Keep an eye out because their Davidson Plum Pot Set Yoghurt and low-cream milk are on their way soon. We’ll let you know as soon as we’ve got them.
