But first, as you probably know by now… our new brand, which we’ll be unveiling in a couple of weeks, is built around one simple idea: bringing joy to the community with good food! 🌟 So in the spirit of this, here’s a little challenge for you:

🌿 FROM THE FARMS 🌿

All the rain over the weekend was a bit of a mixed bag… 🌧️😅Farmers were thrilled for a break from the dry heat, but when it rains, it pours. Some had to spend the week cleaning up from floods, and a few couldn’t deliver because they were trapped by floodwaters.

It’s a reminder of how intense farming can be - the weather is completely out of our control, and farmers go through it all to bring us the best produce.

The best thing you can do to help is to buy from your local farmers whenever you can, so when life throws natural disasters their way, they’ve got some support behind them to carry them through the hard times. 💚

🥒 What's Fresh Right Now

Organic Black Globe Eggplant – Lower Don Organics, Bowen

Eggplant can be the main character on a plate if you know how to use it! Roast it in the oven and blend with garlic, tahini, lemon juice, salt & pepper for an amazing dip. 🍆

Spray-Free Red Flesh Dragonfruit – Sandy Creek Gourmet Produce

Cut in half and scoop out the flesh, or cut in quarters and peel back the beautiful skin. Mildly sweet, like a combo of kiwi and pear, with soft flesh. Rich in antioxidants and Vitamin C. 🐉

Organic Snow Peas – Rodowsky Organics, Silvan VIC

Add these crunchy lil beauties to salads or lightly fry with broccoli, zucchini, and kale for a quick, colourful stir fry. ❄️

Certified organic, packed with Vitamin C - one cup is said to contain 135% of your daily dose. Immune system support and tastes amazing! 💜🥦

🐑 News On Your Lamb!

All of our Djularoo Lamb sold out in about 5 seconds! Okay, maybe this is a slight exaggeration… but it’s not that far off.

But, don’t panic! We’ll have more coming at the end of the week. We’ll be getting fortnightly deliveries from our mates at Echo Valley Farm, so your future roasts, shanks, and cosy curries are safe.
