Hi Foodies!
Lately we've been getting lots of requests from customers to add some more staples to the store so they no longer have to visit the dreaded supermarket. We're so glad more people are wanting to shop locally and support small businesses like ours.
If you continue to buy from the big supermarkets you are voting with your wallet for a food system that is unfair to farmers and makers, inefficient and bad for the planet (just think of the food miles and the wastage!).
If you want to help create a better food system you need to be more conscious about who your are supporting with your shopping dollar.
Local, organic, small scale food systems like ours are resilient, keep resources within our own local economy (so we all flourish) and support farmers who are regenerating our soils (not depleting it).

🍎 PRODUCE UPDATE
- Lebanese Cucumbers are on super-special this week. Down from $7 to $4 per 500gm. Grab them while they're cheap!

Mangoes are finally here! Gorgeous Kensington Prides from Bowen in Queensland.
You can get one, two or even a whole tray. If you're anything like our family, organic mangoes go almost quicker than they arrive. If you'd like a delicious mango smoothie recipe you can check out our most recent blog post.
🛒 GROCERY UPDATE (new staples!)
- Organic Tomato Passata - can't have spaghetti without canned tomatoes or passata, so here you go. Enjoy whipping up your own spag bol sauce with this passata as the base. Yum.

Organic Baked Beans - perfect to go with your organic and gluten free breads!

Vege Gluten Free Rice Crackers - Sour Cream & Chives flavour. We probably should have ordered more, they're that delicious

Toothpaste! You need to keep those pearly whites bright and clean, so we have some natural, fluoride-free Grant's toothpaste for you. There are two flavours - herbal aloe vera and baking soda with peppermint.
- Kin Kin Laundry Liquid, Dishwash Liquid & Dishwasher Powder - we are big fans of this stuff and use it all the time... so it made sense to add it to our repertoire. Locally made on the Sunshine Coast with only natural ingredients.
- Almond Milk DIY Paste - back by popular demand! This product makes it so easy to make your own almond milk and it's also delicious drizzled over anything.

📦 NEW PICK UP POINT
We've been getting lots of demand from the Gold Coast and are excited to have expanded further south this week with the addition of a new pick up point at TALLEBUDGERA. That means we now have 7 Gold Coast pick up points:
- Ormeau
- Coomera
- Arundel
- Labrador
- Nerang
- Mermaid Waters
- Tallebudgera
If you've got friends on the Goldy - be sure to let them know!

Would you believe we now have 4 vans on the road! And as of this week they all have sexy sign writing on them. If you see them driving around your neighbourhood be sure to waive to our friendly drivers.
We welcomed a new driver to our team recently: Dan Eales. Dan is our Customer Service Guru Siobhan's husband. So with Trev and I, Farmer Kel and her husband Ric, and both my parents working in the business - we now have 4 couples working in our business. It's truly a family affair!
