Hey foodie! ๐๐
It's that time of year again... Black Friday is upon us, but instead of spamming your inbox with stuff you don't really need, we want to give you something a little more valuable that won't end up in your rubbish bin (did you know that up to 80% of what's bought on Black Friday ends up in landfill?!)
Hereโs a list of things you can do this Friday to get that dopamine boost that you would normally get from a shopping spree. Try these feel-good activities instead:
โ Have your morning cuppas in the sun to get some of that sweet vitamin D.
๐ Eat foods known to increase dopamine including chicken, almonds, apples, avocados, bananas, beets, chocolate, green leafy vegetables, oats, oranges, peas, sesame and pumpkin seeds, tomatoes, turmeric and watermelon.
๐ถ Pat your doggo.
๐ Do some movement that you enjoy, such as walking, hiking, yoga or learning a new dance routine with the fam.
๐ด Get some decent sleep.
๐ง Meditate.
In other news, our stone fruit variety is still growing with the season and we now have Plums for you to enjoy! These delicious spray-free plums are picked fresh from Mario Giacosa's farm at Stanthorpe. As an added treat for you all, they're on special right now! Make sure you grab some while they're in abundance. ๐
